A reunion was held for all students who joined RHC
as undergraduates in 1965 (The Pioneers).
The
venue was the newly refurbished main Dining Hall in Founders, on the
31st
July 2010.
Some 60 Pioneers attended the reunion and I think all enjoyed it.
It is planned to hold another reunion for the 50th anniversary in 2015. Sounds a long time in the future but I am sure it will come around quite quickly.
I will add more about both these events once I am back home.

YES - some advance warning.
At the 2010 reunion it was decided to hold the next reunion in 2015.
This will be the 50th anniversary of men at RHC.

The Pioneers
In 1965 male students were admitted for the first time as undergraduates
to the Royal Holloway College and subsequently became known as "the Pioneers".
Thanks to Vianney Waters, an 'inaugural' meeting of 27 Pioneers took place at
Kingswood on 24th June 2006.
As a follow-up to that reunion, this site is intended to act as a notice board
for the Pioneers and fellow students (both male and female) of the 1960's.
We hope to provide you with
information and a range of services to bring back memories and
re-establish contact with old friends.
